Back to newsProudly supporting Extreme Cello
Since 2003, Extreme Cello have taken musical performances to new heights and depths, by performing in extreme locations to raise money for charity. We’re proud to provide our support for Extreme Cello on their 2016 challenge which will see them play at all surviving 57 piers around the coast of Britain.
So grab your towels, hats and sunscreen and pop down to see some cello by the seaside.
Pier Pressure 2016
Throughout the summer of 2016, Extreme Cello will undertake their next challenge: Pier Pressure. Over the course of two weeks, they will traverse 2,500 miles around the coast of Britain, seeking out each surviving pier and using it as the backdrop for a unique performance.
The tour will raise funds for two incredible charities; CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner-City Kids) and the Alzheimer’s Society. Help show your support by either heading down to your local pier and cheering on the band, or giving a donation toward their chosen charities.
